Met de pups gaat het geweldig! Ze zijn veel buiten op het terras, waar zon en schaduw is en ze kunnen spelen, slapen en eten. Het zijn nu echt kleine hondjes geworden, met tandjes die hard kunnen bijten en ze zijn heel alert op wat er gebeurt om ze heen. Op maandag 20 augustus zijn ze ontwormd, en op vrijdag 24 augustus hebben ze hun pupenting gehad. De dierenarts was ook heel tevreden! Alle reutjes hebben twee balletjes die ingedaald zijn (ook heel belangrijk) en ze zijn erg fit. Wij zijn super blij met dit nestje!
The pups are doing great! They spend a lot of time outside on our terrace, where there is sun and shade, and they can play, sleep and eat together. They are really little doggies now, with small teeth that bite really hard, and they are very alert on everything that happens around them. They have had their pill against worms on monday 20 august, and we went to the vet for their first vaccination on friday 24 august. The vet was really pleased with the litter! All boys have two testicles (very important too) and they are really healthy. We are super happy with this litter!

Het gaat erg goed met de pups! Als het mooi weer is zitten ze buiten in de ren. Ze lopen ook regelmatig op het terras en in huis rond als wij er bij zijn, en ze vinden dat heel erg leuk. De halsbandjes zitten er sinds 11 augustus om, dus nu zijn ze herkenbaar. De teefjes hebben een lichtrose en donkerrose bandje om, de reutjes de andere kleuren. Het lichtgroene bandje wordt gedragen door het reutje met het witte streepje op z'n borst. Heel prettig dat ze nu herkenbaar zijn, want nu kunnen we hun gedrag ook beter observeren. We waren al voordat ze drie weken oud waren begonnen met het voeren van geweekte brokjes, en ze vinden dat erg lekker. Maar mama Felyce geeft ook nog prima melk.

The light green collar is the male with the small white line on his breast. We like it a lot that we can recogneze them, especially because we can now observe their behaviour much better. Before they were three weeks old they received their first meals, and they like that a lot. But mama Felyce offers her milk also.

Alles gaat goed! / Everything goes well!
Met de pups gaat alles prima. Ze groeien goed, en Felyce zorgt goed voor ze. Vandaag begonnen de oogjes open te gaan. Sommige pups hadden van één oog een stukje open, andere van beide ogen. Ze gaan ook wat steviger op hun pootjes staan, en zijn bedrijviger/drukker in de bak. Afgelopen maandag is de enveloppe met de namen van de pups op de bus gegaan. De namen van de reuen zijn: Ivan, Ivory (deze namen zijn door de baasjes gekozen), Igor, Ishtar en Isger (deze zijn door Meta verzonnen). De teefjes gaan Issy en Ischa heten.
The pups are doing very well. They are growing and Felyce takes good care of them. Today the eyes where a little bit open, some only one eye, others both eyes. They are getting stronger in their legs, and are busier in walking around. Last monday we posted the enveloppe with the names of the pups. The names of the males: Ivan, Ivory (their new owners have chosen these names), Igor, Ishtar and Isger (those names where chosen by Meta). The females will be called Issy and Ischa.

Dag 3 / day 3
Alles gaat goed met Felyce en haar pups! Ze groeien allemaal goed, zien er glanzend uit, zijn levendig en Felyce is erg waakzaam en bezorgd over ze. Ze wil ze liefst helemaal niet alleen laten, en als we ze wegen (en haar even buitensluiten) krabt ze erg aan de deur. Hieronder weer een paar foto's!
Everything goes well with Felyce and her puppies! They grow, look shiny, they are lively and Felyce is very protective about them. She doesn't like it to leave them alone, and when we take care of them (weigh and check them) and shut her outside the door, she lets us know that she doesn't appreciate that. A few more photos!

De bevalling is begonnen! / Felyce has started giving birth!
Om vier uur vannacht is Rudy bij Felyce gaan liggen omdat ze erg onrustig was. Vanaf acht uur begonnen de zichtbare weeën, en was ze erg hijgerig en onrustig. Het duurde daarna tot kwart voor tien, toen werd de eerste pup geboren! Hij was flink zwaar, 507 gram. De uitdrijving ging ook moeilijk, we hebben haar wat mee moeten helpen. Het duurde een flinke tijd voordat ze weer weeën kreeg, en om vijf voor half twaalf werd de tweede pup geboren. Daarna ging het rap, om vijf voor twaalf kwam nummer drie. Tot nu toe zijn het allemaal reutjes!
Last night Rudy stayed with Felyce from four o' clock. At eight we started seeing the contractions, and at a quarter to ten the first puppy was born! The second came at almost half past eleven, and the third one five minutes before twelve. All male puppies so far!

Het zijn in totaal zeven pups geworden. Vijf reuen en twee teefjes. Het is allemaal erg goed gegaan. Felyce is erg zorgzaam en tijdens de bevalling was ze erg relaxt (nadat de eerste twee geboren waren). Om kwart voor vier is de laatste pup geboren!
Felyce delivered seven pups in total. Five males and two females. Everything went very well. Felyce is very caring for her pups, and during the delivery she was very relaxed (at least after the birth of the first two pups). The last pup was born at a quarter to four!
